Q- What do you mean when a tour
is labeled as a walking tour?
A- This means you should be prepared to do some walking. This may mean some hikes of a half-
mile or so, or just a few hundred yards. It depends on the location. We recommend you call us if you have any questions.
Q- How much history do I need to know to come on one of these trips?
A- Practically none. This historian's job is to make the tour interesting to all levels. Questions are welcomed.
Q- Is there a reading list?
A- We recommend books you may wish to read, but it is optional.
Q- Do you always take a full-sized motorcoach with a restroom?
A- It depends on the size of the group. If our group is small we travel in 15 passenger vans. If our group is large enough, or we will be covering large distances we will provide a motorcoach.
Q- Is the hotel included in the price?
A- No, we provide the tour, transportation during the tour, and lunches.
Q- Is there a dress code?
A- No, comfortable and casual dress is the best.
Q- What is the age make-up of your clients?
A- This varies. We may have people from age 15 to 85 on a trip. Most are middle-aged and interested in meeting people and seeing the places we go.
Q- I am a single person. Will I feel comfortable on the tour?
A- Yes, single women and men routinely travel with us and are repeat customers.
