Battle of Carthage Scenario

The link at the bottom of the page will lead you to download the Battle of Carthage scenario. Please note that you will need Sierra's Civil War Generals 2 to be able to play this scenario. If you do not have it, please follow this link. Make sure you keep track of where you put the file so you can deal with it after the download. Also, if you do not have WinZip, click here. WinZip is the most commonly used program to deal with compressed files such as this over the internet.

Be sure you also know where your Civil War Generals 2 game is located. After the file is downloaded (named "Carthage.zip"), locate it and double-click on it. This will automatically open WinZip (if you have WinZip) and the contents of the file will be listed. Go to the top of the screen and click on "Extract". This will bring up a window that will basically ask where you want the file extracted to. This is where you type in the path to your Civil War Generals 2 game so WinZip knows where to place the Battle of Carthage files. The typical path for this is:

C:\sierra\cwg2\scenario

The location of your copy of Civil War Generals 2 may be different, but this is usually where it is. Once that's entered, click "Extract" over on the right side of the window and the files will be placed there. Now all you have to do is begin playing Civil War Generals 2 the way you normally do, and the Battle of Carthage will be listed in the game as one of the possible scenarios to pick from. Enjoy!
